Glassblowing Experience Gift Vouchers

Gift the unforgettable experience of glassblowing in the Lake District with professional Cumbrian glassblower James Stewardson. 

Participants will learn the art and science behind lampworking through demonstrations by James, before being guided to create their own glass art. Based on your interests, James can create a wide range of art - from decorative sculptures and jewellery to marbles and functional glassware. 

We offer either a private 1:1 workshop or a private experience for 2. If you're interested in booking a larger group then please get in touch as we can tailor the experience to you.

Should I book a 2-hour or 4-hour experience? The 2-hour experience gives participants a really good insight into the basics of lampworking, letting them see how the process works and giving them the chance to have a go at the torch. The 4-hour experience is much more immersive - participants will get to see James demonstrate more complex glass pieces and they'll also get more time behind the torch. Participants will also receive and make more glass art in this experience. Great for those that get really lost in any craft that put their attention on!
